My name is Megan and I began dancing in Corvallis, Oregon with Mike and Simona of Rumbanana Salsa Group in 2012. I joined the Rumbanana performance team in 2014. Through this team, I learned a lot of great techniques for rueda de casino.

 

I started attending the Salsa Rueda Festival in San Francisco in 2014, taking workshops from fantastic Cuban maestros such as Kati Hernandez, Yeni Molinet, Hansel Melgares, Roberto Borrell, Royland Lobato, Karelia Despaigne, Yanek Revilla, and many more.

 

My goal is to cultivate a local community of people who are interested in learning how to dance casino while having fun and learning more about Cuban culture.
